San Diego Chargers At Washington Redskins

Philip Rivers is having an amazing year, completing 73.9% of his passes with a QB rating of 111.1. Normally I fade West Coast teams in early games, but the Chargers have shown they can hang on the East Coast, helping them earn a 5-1-1 record ATS. The Redskins haven't been as fortunate; they're only 2-5 ATS and getting banged up on and off the field. Unclear who's taken more hits this year: RG III or team owner Daniel Snyder.

Chargers -1

Indianapolis Colts At Houston Texans

The Indianapolis Colts have beaten three of the toughest teams in the NFL with victories over the 49ers, the Seahawks and the Broncos. Houston normally plays Indy tough, but this is a different Texans team this year; they're 1-6 straight up and have only covered one spread. Andrew Luck will be without his favorite target, Reggie Wayne, which means he'll have to do what the Oakland Raiders couldn't. Get their fans to stop playing dress-up? No, figure out how to effectively use Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Colts -1

Kansas City Chiefs At Buffalo Bills

Kansas City and Buffalo come into this game both an impressive 5-3 ATS, making them two of the more unlikely moneymakers in the NFL this year. Thad Lewis has shown he's not your typical practice squad QB, the Bills have covered every game at home and I expect that trend to continue against the Chiefs. Andy Reid struggles with two things in life: Limiting his carbs and winning before a bye where he's only 5-9 ATS. Buffalo circles the wagons and gives KC their first loss.

Bills +3

Prosperous Prop Bets

The shortened week of rest, combined with the tempting Miami nightlife, means that most guys will be missing that extra burst needed for big plays.

Bengals vs Miami Adjusted Spread
Bengals -10.5 (+285)
It's never a good sign when you lose your RT; it's an even worse omen when your RT goes AWOL after a confrontation in a cafeteria.
